At Thurgood Marshall Middle School, we believe that students thrive when their health, wellness, and learning are supported together. Through our partnership with Rochester Regional Health, students have access to high-quality medical and mental health services right at school in a safe, welcoming, and student-centered environment. These services help remove barriers to learning so that every student can focus on growing, achieving, and reaching their full potential.

Services Available

Students enrolled in the School-Based Health Center may have access to a variety of services, including:

• Physical examinations and annual wellness visits
• Treatment for minor illnesses and injuries
• Immunizations and health screenings
• Mental health counseling and support
• Health education and wellness coaching
• Nutrition education
• Medication management and prescription support
• Referrals to additional community resources when needed

Services are provided by licensed healthcare and mental health professionals who work collaboratively with families and primary care providers to support student well-being.
